Information you provide

We collect the information needed to run your medication routine: your email address for sign-in, the medications you add, their schedules, and every taken, snoozed or skipped dose you record.

• Account data: email address and sign-in codes.
• Medication data: names, strengths, forms, doses, schedules and treatment periods.
• Dose history: the actions you confirm and the times you confirm them.
• Care circle data: the email addresses of people you invite, and your sharing settings.
• Support requests: the name, email address and message you send through the support form.

Health data

If you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, Ours reads only the metrics you approve, such as steps, sleep or heart rate, so they can be shown alongside your doses. Ours never writes to your health store and never uses this data for advertising.

Information collected automatically

We collect limited technical data required to keep the service working and secure: app version, device model and operating system, language, timezone, approximate region derived from IP address, and crash reports. We do not use advertising identifiers and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

How we use your information

We use your data to deliver reminders, keep your schedule correct across timezones and device changes, power backup and sync, provide support when you ask for it, and protect the service against abuse. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use health information for advertising.

AI features

When you scan a medication package, the image is processed to extract the medication name, strength and form. The result is only a suggestion until you confirm it. Your images are not used to train third-party models and are not kept longer than needed to return the result.

Sharing

We share data with service providers who host and operate the app on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and email delivery, under contracts that limit their use of it. We also disclose data when the law requires it. We never share your medication data with advertisers or data brokers.

Storage, security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit and protected by access controls on the server side. We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your personal data and dose history, keeping only what we must retain for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data. The fastest route is inside the app, where you can export a backup file and delete your account and its data. You can also write to us and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and CPRA, LGPD and similar).

• Export: create a backup file from the app and keep it wherever you like.
• Deletion: delete your account in the app, or email us and we will action the request.
• Objection and restriction: contact us and we will review your request.
• Cookies: ours.coach uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

Children, changes and contact

Ours is not intended for children under 16, or under 13 where local law sets that threshold. We may update this policy as the product evolves; material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect.
